Omaha-based hard rock band Cold Steel has played hundreds of shows across the Midwest, but this summer was different. In so many places the band went to perform, there was severe flooding from the Missouri River that affected every resident of the towns and cities the band had criss-crossed in their 6 years together.

Cold Steel's fans have always been the driving force in their music, and when they saw their fans and other families in distress they decided to give back to the people that have given them so much over the years.

So, the guys went back into the studio and recorded this 4-song EP entitled "Fight The Flood". The EP is a departure from the blistering electric guitars and thunderous drumming on a typical Cold Steel album - it's a stripped down, moody acoustic set of original music.

Every dollar from each track and EP sold will benefit the Salvation Army's flood relief program, and Cold Steel chose the Salvation Army because their flood relief funds are used 100% for the victims. No administrative costs, no salaries, just all the money directly assisting people who need help.
